Concert Fidelity CF-080LSX2 wins the 2011 Stereo Times Most Wanted Components Award
Concert Fidelity's flagship line stage preamplifier, the CF-080LSX2, received the prestigious 2011 Stereo Times Most Wanted Components Award. This exceptional award is given to audio components that most impressed the reviewers of the online magazine during the year, and this is the first time Concert Fidelity has received it.
The new CF-080LSX2 tube hybrid preamplifier is the upgraded version of the CF-080LSX. Changes from the previous model include introduction of the state-of-the-art DC-DC converters in the critical power supplies of the input and volume control stages makes the preamplifier immune to AC-related noises and lowers the overall noise floor. In addition, resistors in the input and volume control stages were replaced with expensive "chip" resistors.
