Hybrid Line Stage Preamplifier
Advanced input circuitry and volume control circuitry are implemented with our proprietary Direct Signal Path Technology (DSPT). This combines with our low-distortion amplification section using the 12AU7 in cascode configuration to produce extremely fast transient response and clarity. This preamp is the closest thing to using no preamp at all, yet it provides sufficient gain to give music the drive and authority which no passive device can equal.

Based on Masataka Tsuda’s early effort, and taking full advantage of very rare high quality J-FET’s, in Class A Push Pull configuration in all. 3 stage of circuit, providing up to 65dB of gain (40dB for MM).
Individual phono cartridge matching is achieved precisely through placement of specific input modules, which are custom provisioned according to customer’s desired cartridges. |
