ZL-120V2 Upgrade Program
An upgraded unit is electrically the same as the original production model.
The ZL-120V2's improvements include the use of high quality, Japanese-made DC-DC converters in the input and driver stages, plus revisions in driver stage circuit board(LF-4 V2.0) and grounding layout. Unlike linear regulators, the high-tech DC-DC converters provide complete electric isolation between stages, which results in lower noise floor, "blacker" background, and superior reproduction of low-level information.

Option 1: Retain the original, Silicon Arts Design front panel and rear panel
If you choose to Option1 upgrade, we need to confirm one thing: The V2-upgrade will eliminate the input impedance selection switch on the rear panel, and therefore, there will be a hole where the switch is currently. We will use a sticker to cover it up so it won't be readily visible. The upgrade charge for this option is $6,000.
Option 2: Change to the new, Concert Fidelity front panel and reapanel
This option includes the internal upgrade and a replacement of both the FRONT AND REAR panels with the newly designed Concert Fidelity logo. In addition to eliminating the input impedance switch, the newly designed Concert Fidelity rear panel will feature high quality, Mundorf binding posts. The upgrade charge for this option is $8,000
